Do you know why Obama and Trump won their respective elections? Because they effectively leveraged themselves online. Unfortunately, most politicians don’t know how to effectively use social media and the Internet. They are stuck in the old way of doing things and are too often anti-technology.

Well, hate to break it to them, the world is changing and they have to change because for better or worse the world isn’t going back.

Children today don’t know a world without a computer, iPhone or tablets. They don’t know what a world without the Internet would be like. They don’t know how to think for themselves without checking in with their friends online every few minutes. If you don’t know how to reach the people who knew what the world was before the Internet, you’re going to be hopeless with the Gen Z’ers that are coming up.
